Meet the staff..........
Helen Chittenden and Debra Cox founded the Upperthong Out of School Club on February 13th 1996. Prior to that they met and worked together in the local playgroup back in 1991. So between them they have bags of experience.
The Club has gone from strength to strength and now employs another three members of staff ensuring a healthy ratio of staff to children.
Helen and Debs are also NVQ3 qualified, first aiders and holders of the food hygiene certifcate. They continue to attend courses recommended by Kirklees Early Years Service in order to keep abreast of emerging best practices in the care of children.
Both are also CRB checked, as are all staff and any volunteers.
